Stone The Crows - Koru Candle Holder
The Koru Candle Holder has been carved on both sides and the flat indentation on the top makes it suitable for supporting most standard candle sizes.
Recognized as the symbol of life and growth, the New Zealand Koru, or spiral, represents renewal and hope, and is the stylistic depiction of the unfurling of a fern frond.
The Koru Candle Holder measures is 190mm x 190cm x 100cm. Comes with felt dots on the bottom, to protect your furniture, a swing tag describing the stone and its origins.
Made from the wonderful creamy white limestone quarried from the North Otago hills, these Koru Candle Holders make lasting gifts or something special for a friend.
New Zealand made.
Oamaru lies 3/4 of the way down the South Island of New Zealand on the Eastern or Pacific Coast. Oamaru stone is a limestone, that is the hard calciferous shells of marine aminals built up into a thick blanket of limey sediment on the sea floor, which over 30 to 40 millions years became lithified (hardened into rock) and was eventually lifted above sea level.
