Jayme Fitzgerald - Water
Jayme Fitzgerald is taking New Zealand by storm.
Jayme is a singer, songwriter and musician and with outspoken lyrics and a laid back feel, this girl is certainly one to look out for in the future.
Jayme has a mature sense of initiative of what works in song writing far beyond her 17 years. Her style mimics her semi laid-back approach to life, while embracing a range of influences having grown up listening to Crowded House, The Eagles, Melissa Etheridge, Celine Dion, Fleetwood Mac, The Corrs and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Later influences came from song writers like Jewel, Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem, Bic Runga, Jack Johnson and Brooke Fraser.
Aside from her music, Jayme is your typical NZ water baby and her addicition to water means in summer you'll find her patrolling in an IRB and between the flags as a qualified surf lifeguard with the Pukehina Surf Club. Never one to have an ordinary life, Jayme is also a member of the Tauhara College's First 11 Girls' football team and the school Snowboard team.
